Now, on to more important stuff. Where are Whelan and the Dogs? At the moment they’re passing through Saudi Arabia, having just escaped beheadings in Dubai. Translated, that means I’m about to begin writing Part 4 of Endangered Species, the second book in the Sleeping Dogs trilogy. Parts 1-3 have been reviewed and rewritten, but need the services of a great thriller-based editor. I had a terrific editor for Sleeping Dogs. Unfortunately, she seems to have issues of some sort. She just goes incommunicado for long periods. As a writer who is driven to publish professionally edited materials, I need someone I can count on. So the next and most immediate step is finding a new editor.
Once he or she has performed their magic on the Parts 1-3, I plan to publish each part digitally in serialized form; probably one installment every 4-6 weeks. The complete version will be published in digital and print formats.
